About Me

I am a Licensed Psychologist dedicated to helping adolescents, adults, and families heal from trauma and navigate life’s most difficult experiences. My work focuses on creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered in their healing process.

I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma, abuse, and complex life stressors, including those who may struggle with emotional regulation, relationship challenges, or the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and evidence-based, incorporating treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients process painful experiences and develop healthy coping skills.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with adolescents, adults, and families, including those involved in child protection and juvenile justice systems. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how trauma affects development, relationships, and behavior, and they inform the way I approach treatment with sensitivity and care.

I earned my Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with a forensic emphasis from an APA-accredited program at Alliant International University. In addition to my clinical work, I have been involved in training clinicians, supervising psychology trainees, and developing mental health programs designed to better serve vulnerable populations.

In my practice, my goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward a greater sense of stability, healing, and well-being. I believe that with the right support and tools, meaningful change and growth are possible.

I also provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults seeking greater clarity about their mental health, emotional functioning, and behavioral patterns. Psychological assessments can help identify underlying concerns, clarify diagnoses, and guide effective treatment planning.

Evaluations may be helpful for individuals experiencing ongoing emotional distress, trauma-related symptoms, mood concerns, or difficulties with decision-making and relationships. The assessment process typically includes a clinical interview, standardized psychological testing, and a detailed written report that summarizes findings and provides personalized recommendations.

My goal is to ensure that each evaluation is conducted in a thoughtful and thorough manner so that clients leave with a clearer understanding of their experiences and practical guidance for next steps in treatment, personal growth, or other areas of their lives.
